Become a Friend of the Pops - Please take a moment to review the Friends of the Pops annual contribution categories. For your convenience you may use this form (clicking will open a new window) or you may simply mail your donation to TUCSON POPS ORCHESTRA, P. O. Box 14545, Tucson, AZ 85732-4545.

Your donation makes you eligible for weekly giveaways as well as the 2009 Friends of the Pops Grand Prize Drawing. We ask you, the listening public, to become involved in keeping our tradition alive.

  • Friends of the Pops Member ($20 and up)
    Members receive one drawing chance for twenty dollars of contributions and concert announcements prior to spring and fall seasons.

  • Friends of the Pops Patron ($50)
    Pops Patrons receive five drawing chances and concert announcements prior to spring and fall seasons. Name is listed in spring and fall programs as "Pops Patron".

  • Chair Sponsor ($100)
    Chair Sponsors receive ten drawing chances and concert announcements prior to spring and fall seasons. Name is listed in spring and fall programs under musician's name as "Chair Sponsor".

  • Sustainer ($250)
    Recognition given on special Corporate page in concert programs as part of "The Ensemble". Sustainers receive advance concert announcements.

  • Orchestrator ($500)
    Donations will be used for purchase of special music or arrangements or towards commissioning of new compositions. Acknowledgement of the donor will be made at each and every performance, both in the written program and through spoken announcements, when your music is used. "Orchestrators" also receive advance program announcements.

2009 Friends of the Pops Grand Prize Drawing

Your "Friends of the Pops" donation is good for the Tucson Pops and fun for you!  You might ask, "Well, what do I get for my contribution?"  Your contribution, along with those of our sponsors, makes possible the orchestra's series of ten free concerts at Reid Park.  Without your personal support, the concerts would be lost.

To add some fun for you, each week Friends of the Pops donors are entered into a drawing for lunches or dinners for two at local restaurants and other prizes.

Friends of the Pops memberships begin at $20.00 and receive drawing entries for each $10 increment—2 for $20, 5 for the $50 patron, and 10 for the $100 chair sponsorship.  Entries are kept in the drawing pool for the spring and fall seasons as well as for our Grand Prize drawing, which occurs at our last concert.   

The grand prize includes accommodations for two at the Sheraton San Diego Hotel and Marina provided by Starwood Hotels & Resorts Worldwide.   In addition, the grand prize includes a cash award of $300.00, to be used for transportation of your choice—airfare or automobile.
